Illika means The earth is a visually striking architectural creation, meticulously crafted to seamlessly blend the timeless traditions of Kerala architecture with contemporary elements. Nestled in the lush tropical hills of Thiruvambady in Calicut district, this project is a testament to the art of conceptualizing spaces that balance privacy and transparency as its defining principles.

This 3500 sq. ft. residence stands out with its gracefully arched windows harmoniously merging with the vernacular sloped roofs that are emblematic of the region. The exterior of the house is adorned with a soothing palette of neutral Pantone colours, elegantly complementing the exquisite wooden accents that grace the design. The judicious selection of tactile materials ensures a design that revolves around the well-being and comfort of its occupants.
