Situated in the heart of Bengaluru, this 2600 sq. ft. family home offers a spectacular panoramic view of the city. The interior design concept was meticulously developed with a primary focus on meeting the needs and desires of the occupants, blending both aesthetics and functionality. A contemporary theme was adopted while respecting the principles of Vaastu, without compromising on style. This presented a unique challenge for the project.
The interior design features clean-lined monochromatic walls, harmoniously complemented by wooden furniture and fittings that create a sense of depth and visual interest within the space. The open-plan design seamlessly combines the living area, dining room, family lounge, pooja area, and kitchen, creating a vast, unobstructed area
The boundaries of this space are defined by aesthetically patterned tiles, adding an elegant touch. The design team meticulously analysed how the family utilizes their living spaces and, in turn, paid great attention to the placement and dimensions of each piece of furniture to optimize functionality.
Privacy was a key consideration, with the guest bedroom strategically placed near the entrance to ensure a clear separation from the communal areas. The first floor is dedicated to more private zones, carefully tailored to cater to individual needs, be it for work, leisure, or rest.
The workspace theme defined for individuals is costumed as per the need. The furniture in these spaces is thoughtfully designed looking to the dimensions, featuring fluted glass, polished wood, and a neutral colour palette, contributing to the overall interior scheme.
The master suite epitomizes a contemporary design language, integrating Vaastu principles seamlessly. It opens onto a balcony clad with brick, offering a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city and on the other side golden hour rays glittering to the facade.
This project represents a successful experiment in harmoniously uniting a series of spaces to create a highly functional and aesthetically pleasing contemporary design that complements the urban context of Bengaluru.
